THE BEAUTY OF FOOTBALL
Turkey is going through to the quater finals of the Euro cup after a miraclulous 3-2 win against the Cezch Republic.
Never before has a game of football been so exciting to watch as Turkey took apart their Cezch opponents and proved their place in this competition.
FIRST HALF
The game began with the players not quiet settling on the ground. The ball appeared on every corner of the field flying from a red boot to a white.
With fouls and injuries occuring almost every minute, in no time the yellow cards were waving high.
Finally in the mist of the unorganised chaos the Cezch Republic scored a goal from Jan Koller's strong header in the 34th minute.
SECOND HALF
The game began to take it's form in favour of the tukish side. The attacks were coming from every angle, the Turkish team getting the ball in the penalty area hoping to equalise.
But all their efforts unfortunately resulted in a goal for the Cezch side when Joroslav Plasil merged the ball into the left side of the goal in the 62th minute.
Attacks from Turkey became more frequent and so did the yellow cards for both sides and at one point even to the players on the bench.
After such hard work Turkey eventually scored. A goal by Arda Turan in the 75th minute, slipping by Petr Cech's heavily guaded goal.
Only one goal down motivation from the fans in the Stadium rewaded Turkey with the equalier by the captain Nihat Cahveci in the 87th minute. Two minutes later the brialliance from the captain continued.
Any hope for the Cezch Republic for a penalty shoot out had ended when suddenly the Turkish goalkeeper got red carded.
Turkey was down to ten men, with four minutes of extra time left to play Tuncay Sanli took over as goalie.
Opportunity to score was now possible for the Cezch side but time ran out and Turkey successfully made it through to the quater finals in the most dramatic game so far in the competition.
And thats the Beauty of football. The unexpected happens and you end up cheering for a side you don't usualy cheer for.
Turkey's next game is against Croatia.
