MAYBE NEXT YEAR FOR ARSENAL

In an match that will not be forgotten Liverpool has won 5-3 on aggregate against Arsenal at Anfield.

With the crowd roaring like no other, a goal by Diabi raised the roof of Anfield stadium at 13 minutes. Liverpool fans were not happy!

Arsenal dominated the first half hour of the game but when Liverpool was provided with a corner, the course of the game headed in a different direction.

Hyypia scores a goal from Gerrard's corner on 30.

As soon as Liverpool scored the seemed to rise to the challenge that Arsenal was making them face.

The game began to look like it did in the first leg.

Now equal again Arsenal had hope of going to the semi-final.

Poor defending from Senderos allowed Fernando Torres to score a powerful goal. Liverpool's precious wonderkid proved his ability once more.

Adebayor wasn't playing his best as he missed many opportunities that would have been a sure goal.

An amazing run, through what it looked like the entire Football field, by Theo Walcot finaly granted a goal by Adebayor.

It was not a night for Arsenal, despite their brilliant game playing. Smiles didn't last long as Liverpool was awarded a some what questionable penalty. Gerard took the shot and scored.

Arsenal seemed to lacked the playmaker the needed.

With one minute left on the clock Asenal tackled hard leaving no player to defend, a strategy that would prove fatal as Ryan Babel took the opportunity and scored. Fabregas tried to do a defender's job but lets not forget that he's not a defender.

I suspect that Arsene Wenger will have a talk or two with his team before they go for the Premier Title.

Hey, what do you think about the referees' job in football competitions. Seems to me that they've been getting worse and worse ever since the 2002 World Cup. Liverpool's penalty was an excellent example of that. Why was this one called and yet when Hleb was fouled in a more obvious way in the first leg, it wasn't called?

I think they should have the same refs for both legs. At least that way, the fouls will be more consistent because this is getting ridiculous.
