BARCELONA AND SCHALKE
Barcelona and Manchester United are now through to the semi-finals.
Barcelona, a team that is used to constantly scoring through out the game only scored one goal and 2-0 on aggregate against Schalke. Yaya Toure ensured Barcelona's place in the 43rd minute.
It was a rough game that was flowing with yellow cards. 3 in total.
Barcelona's coach told the Uefa that Schalk "would be a hard team to beat" and indeed he was right.
Schalk tried many times to put the ball in the net but almost all shots were wide. They go out of this competition as a respectable team with their heads held high.
MANCHESTER UNITED VS ROMA
After 70 grueling mintues Manchester finaly got through Roma's Goalkeeper. Teves scored a beautiful header from Hargreaves perfect delivery.
Being the last Italion club in the Champion's League Roma wanted this win badly. In Italy they are currently second in the serieA.
Sir Alex Ferguson brought Rooney into the game in the 74th minute to try and spice things up but one goal seemed all they would receive on the night.
It was a special night for Gary Neville though as it was his first game in 13 months after a long time in injury. Despite only playing for the last 10 minute of the game Neville seemed a happy man and even got to wear the captain's armband.
It wasn't exactly Manchester best performance but they still go through as the favourites to win th UEFA Champion's League title this year.
