BRITISH POWERHOUSE

Two of Britain's top Football clubs are about to go head to head in the Champions League. On April the 2nd Arsenal will be playing against the five time UEFA champions Liverpool at the Arsenal stadium.

With Arsenal ahead of Livepool by eight points in the premier league, Rafa's side will want to top up their game on the European stage, specailly after their humiliating 3-0 loss against Manchester United on Sunday the 23rd.

Arsenal took out last year's UEFA champions AC Milan. Despite their young and somewhat inexperienced side, the Gunners put on a firey show at the San Siro on March the 4th, blasting their way through the Milan defense with a goal by Cesc Fabregas at the 84 minute mark. A second goal by Adebayor in stopage time, making them the first English team to beat the Milanese on their homeground.

As Arsenal and Liverpool's win in the premier league is looking slimmer, the semi-final qualifiers is heavily needed as it will either make or break this season for one of the side.

Both teams took out Italian legends and with both teams being English, this game is looking to be more of a National rivalry game rather than a European battle. So will Liverpool march their way into the semi-final or will the Gunners shoot through the barrel?

POWER OF THE ENGLISH
Four teams from England and all four hold a place in the top of the ladder in the premier league. There's 50 percent chance that the an English team is going to win UEFA this year.

Manchester is the heavy favourites to win as taken by a poll taken by the worldgame website. They will play their first leg against Roma on the 1st of April at the Stadio Olimpico.
Chelsea will play against Fenerbache; the first time quater-final entries.

So who do u think is going to win the most anticipated game of the year?

How can the English teams do so well in Europe, while the English team sucks on the world stage? Is it because all the native English players are of a lower quality than those we import?
