The most famous football clubs in the world are situated in Europe but does that mean they are the best?
Famous footballers usually are Brazilians, but the Brazlian League is hardly ever broacasted on our Televisions, neither is the Argeninian League unless its paid television.
Television stations usually tend to broadcast the Football that is known to the majority.
The problem with this is that we dont experience Football other the the Football we know: mostly England Italy and Spain so as viewers we are not advancing.
These countries are dominant in the World of Football.
The footballer that play in these countries are better paid, more known and only footballers that play in these countries receive the World Best Footballer award.
It has become a popularity contest and that's why they paid million and millions for David Beckham to play for L.A Galaxy.
In Australia, home Football is a rare site and we are trying to increase it's popularity.
Melbourne Victory will be playing the two time UEFA Champions Juventus.
Juninho; the Brazilian played for Sydney F.C last season.
To increase the popularity of the game is going to take more than a couple of HOT SHOTS though.
If they really want to bring people to the game than Televise them.
The average viewer IS the AVERAGE JOE!!!
I for one would like to see more Australian Football on free Television and it's just because i'm being patriotic.
Lets give the little guys a break!!!!
